In a world where everything moves fast — fast food, fast fashion, fast content — there’s something refreshing about slowing down.

And that’s exactly what I’ve built my photography business around: slow, intentional, meaningful work.

While some portrait photographers thrive on high-volume sessions and quick turnarounds (and there’s absolutely a place for that!), I’ve chosen a different path. My business, based in Knoxville, is intentionally small and curated, because I want to offer something that feels more personal — more of an experience than a transaction.

When you work with me, you’re not just getting a time slot on a packed calendar. You’re getting my full attention, my creativity, and thoughtful planning designed specifically around you — your family, your story, your brand. I take time to understand what matters most to you so your images reflect something deeper than a quick smile.

I don’t overbook, and I don’t rush.

Instead, I make space — space for conversations, for collaboration, for creating something beautiful that holds meaning long after the moment has passed. That slower pace allows me to deliver a level of care and service that I truly believe in.

And just to be clear — slower doesn’t mean waiting forever for your photos. It simply means I don’t overfill my calendar, so each session gets the attention it deserves and your hand-edited images are delivered in a timely, polished way.

I believe that great photography starts with great relationships. After you inquire, I’ll reach out to schedule a phone call, Zoom chat, or — my favorite — an in-person meeting at your favorite coffee shop, whatever works best for you. These pre-session conversations help us get clear on your vision, walk through any questions, and create a more relaxed experience when we’re finally shooting. It’s one of the ways I make sure you feel seen, not just photographed.

During this initial meeting, we’ll also go over package options and a la carte pricing so you know exactly what to expect. You’ll receive this information to review at your own pace, and we’ll revisit everything again at your gallery viewing. I believe in keeping things clear and upfront — no surprises. You should always feel informed and confident at every step.

You’ll also receive a client experience guide and wardrobe tips to help you prepare, plus personalized location recommendations for your sessions in Knoxville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and throughout East Tennessee. Whether you’re unsure what to wear or how to plan for the session day, I’m here to help you every step of the way...

After your session,

we’ll meet again to view your images together — either in person or over Zoom. This isn’t just about looking at pretty pictures (though we’ll definitely do that too!). It’s a chance for me to walk you through your gallery, highlight meaningful moments, and help you decide what to do with your images in a way that feels effortless and fun.

This is also when you’ll select the photos you love most — so you’re not paying for anything sight unseen. Outside of the session fee, you only invest in the images that truly speak to you. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore heirloom-quality prints and products, from personalized photo albums to wall art, so your images don’t just live on a screen — they become part of your home. It’s a personal, thoughtful experience that gives you the time and support to select the images that really speak to you.

Every session is an opportunity to create something lasting. Whether you're after a classic portrait session or a more personalized photoshoot tailored to your style, I take the time to understand your vision and ensure your photos are exactly what you want. It’s about creating pieces you’ll love to look at again and again. I’m here to guide you through a smooth and enjoyable process. Let’s work together to create beautiful, meaningful photos.
