I’m always exploring and adding new locations, so this is just a starting point. Have a favorite place in mind? Let’s collaborate to find the perfect backdrop that reflects your story and style.
Melton Hill Park
Knoxville TN
This riverside park is one of my go-to spots, especially in the fall when the leaves turn and the light gets golden. There’s tall grass, plenty of space to explore, and some cool cliffs in the background across the water that add a nice visual element without being distracting. It’s a relaxed, versatile location that works great for families.

UT Gardens
Knoxville TN
UT Gardens is full of charm and variety - walking paths, seasonal blooms, a gazebo, and even a vintage truck tucked among the plants. There are all kinds of little pockets of whimsy and wonder, which makes it a fun spot to explore during a session. It’s peaceful, easy to get to, and great for both families and seniors.

Springbrook park
Alcoa TN
Springbrook Park is a great all-around location with a little something for everyone. There are open grassy areas, tree-lined paths, a creek, and a charming stone bridge that photographs beautifully. It’s easy to navigate, family-friendly, and has a relaxed feel that works well for portraits of all kinds - from playful kids to seniors.

Knoxville Botanical Gardens
Knoxville TN
This spot feels like a hidden gem right in the city. Fairy tale vibes! Knoxville Botanical Garden has stone buildings, garden paths, open green space, and seasonal blooms that make it a beautiful and versatile backdrop. It’s a great choice for both senior and family sessions.

West Hills and Bynon Park
Knoxville TN
A mix of open space and wooded trails, making them great for sessions with a little variety. There’s a wide walking path, lots of green space, and areas with soft light peeking through the trees. It’s easy to get to, not usually crowded, and a solid option for relaxed, natural portraits.

Meads quarry
Ijams Nature Center
Knoxville TN
Mead’s Quarry has a more adventurous feel with rocky textures, water views, and wooded trails. The quarry itself makes for a dramatic backdrop, especially in the fall when the colors reflect off the water. It’s great for sessions with a bit of edge or nature lovers who want something less manicured and more wild. Just be ready to walk a bit - it's worth it!

Sequoyah Hills Park
Knoxville TN
Sequoyah Hills Park is a favorite Knoxville photo spot with open fields, wooded trails, and river views - all in one place. It’s especially beautiful in spring when the dogwoods bloom and in fall when the trees burst with color, making it perfect for family sessions, portraits, or golden hour magic.

Melton Lake Park
Oak Ridge TN
Melton Lake Park offers peaceful water views and open space that glows beautifully at golden hour. It’s simple, scenic, and great for families or portraits with a calm, natural vibe. One of my favorite sessions with Oak Ridge author Gaby Laurent-
the Wrinkles Welcome book cover - was photographed right here.

At home sessions
There's no place like home
Sometimes the most meaningful place is right where you are. Your home can be the perfect setting for photos - relaxed, personal, and full of the little details that make your story yours. Whether it’s cozy corners, kids playing in the backyard, or simply being in your everyday space, there’s something special about capturing real life at home.
